About Us!

A little about Steve and I....We have been married 26 years and counting. We have 4 adult kids and 4 grandchildren. Family is extremely important to us, to love big! We began our journey into estate sale liquidation as buyers of items to "re-home" in our flea market booth. As the years went by, we knew that God really brought this passion for us to enjoy each other and finding treasures. We were approached and asked if we would like to take over South Bend Estate Sales so the original owner could retire. Honestly, we weren't too sure about it, but we thought about the opportunity and most importantly, we prayed about it! We had such peace with this new direction and knew it was truly meant for us. The passion that we had for buying treasures turned into a passion to help serve our families and our customers. We are so blessed to do what we do for the families that trust us to help them every step of the way. We help our families to re-home their treasures and it is a beautiful thing to be a part of. So, enough about us! How can we help you?

 


 

What do you need to do before we schedule a walk-through with you? Ideally, items that want to be kept by the family should be identified and marked as "Not for sale" or "NFS" so there is no confusion as to what will be for sale. We do document a "soft inventory" to get a clearer picture of what is available to liquidate for your family, which also acts as a basic inventory guide when we come into the home to begin preparing for your sale.

The next step would be to establish a signed agreement so we can schedule a date for your sale (there are sometimes months before we have open availability, so it is imperative that we are contacted as soon as your family decides that having an estate sale is the direction you want to pursue).

We also suggest that family heirlooms, photos and documents with personal information be separated from the items identified to sell and removed prior to us coming into your or your loved one's home. Along with these items, we would also need things such as actual trash removed. Please keep in mind that we are not a cleaning company and excessive focus on removing large amounts of trash greatly reduces our time to properly prepare for your sale.

We are here to take much burden off of your shoulders when it comes to liquidating your treasures, please leave the rest to us! We are here to make your lives easier and the biggest favor we could ask is to let us decide what to throw away and what to sell. Your home or loved one's home is loaded with items that are another's treasures. We strive for a relationship of trust between us and your family. Our goal is to earn your family the highest possible amount for your treasures.
